Firehouse Mural Collaboration | Amazing Things Arts Center

It all started when.

After studying artists like Judy Baca and local artist Sorin Bica, Fuller Middle School 8th grade artists collaborated with Amazing Things Art Center to create large scale public art with the mission to enhance youth empowerment,  further beautify their community and create inspiration for social change within their community.

 The project was the idea of Fuller’s art teacher Caroline DiCicco, who was inspired by Sorin Bica's Front Door Framingham Mural. DiCicco's students initiated the project.

During the Summer of 2017, the mural on this repurposed fire house was completed as a collaboration between Sorin Bica and fellow artist, Mia Cross.
